Here’s the plan I’ve come up with : every goal has a point. When I get to various benchmarks, I get a prize. The end goal, aside from general good living, is to look brilliant by my birthday. Points awarded for:
staying within daily calorie count (1500-1900, as outlined by spark people)
exercise
8 glasses water
getting to sub-jobs early
cleaning Pork Chop’s cage
having money left over at the end of the week
Not huge, but the execution is surprisingly tough, for me at least. These are steps toward a greater good, a better me and a better outlook.
